Carmen Rangel is an artist most known for her captivating use of color and murals both painted and in mosaic. The connection that femininity has with nature, her exploration of Latinx culture/experience, and wanderlust are common themes in her work.
Rangel is a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Communication and studied design and art. Aside from her personal creative endeavors she has also played a role is community and public art projects in the city of Austin, and is the co-founder of The Mosaic Workshop.
